After a sold-out single launch in August and lots of love on local radio, Máquina Peligrosa are back to celebrate the release of their brand-new single “Death Tube.” their next chaotic & fuzzed out installment of psychedelic groove. It lands on streaming and radio in late September with a limited 7” to follow – but the place to hear it live in the flesh, is at this special Sunday Session with a killer line up transforming The Thornbury Bowls Club into a mini fest and the only place you’ll want to be Sunday afternoon on Oct 5th!
Joining the action:
Favoured State – Hyped up post-punk with plenty of edge The Sugar Beats (NSW) – fuzzy rocked out grooves, crunchy garage and big syrupy hooks. Mirror Clippers – a power duo rolling out waves of sound both heavy and groovin'.
And that’s not all — keeping the vibes spinning are DJs Phil MacDougall (Sunglasses After Dark, PBS) and The Knave (Five Miles to Midnight, WFMU) dropping post-punk, surf, garage, indie sleaze and rock ’n’ roll gems all afternoon.
With the kitchen and bar open, bowls on the green, merch on hand, and DJ's from 2pm, it’s the perfect long weekend hangout.
