half request ‘sunmark’ EP launch

Merging influences from the Lo-Fi guitar rock of the 90s to modern Australian DIY, half request create intricate soundscapes of layered guitar, vocal harmonies and electronic folly. Through their self-recorded and produced music, the Eora based four piece hope to contribute to the new wave of honest Australian alternative being created by bands such as Armlock, Garage Sale and Swapmeet. On August 16th the band will be hosting a show to celebrate the launch of their debut EP ‘sunmark’. Support comes in the form of the high-energy emo rock of local outfit Should Be Sweet and the crushing slowcore post-rock of Ligature.
