Digger & The Pussycats 21st Birthday Party

Digger & The Pussycats are throwing a 21st Birthday Party and you’re invited!  Having just returned from a rowdy European tour, which included opening for the Dead Kennedys, The Real McKenzies, The Kids and DZ Deathrays, these fellas have a bit of gig fitness for a change, so why not throw a party to celebrate? After all, staying together for over 21 years is a pretty decent effort. The band have asked some of their nearest and dearest from over the years to help them cut the cake: hypnotic cosmic kraut-lords, BROWN SPIRITS; foot-stomping garage-punk squawkers, BLOWERS; raw rockabilly hip shakers, PLASTIC SECTION; and reuniting for one Melbourne show only, their favourite Brisbane blues-punk dynamos, the VEGAS KINGS, one of Australia’s finest bands of the 21st century. The show will also mark the first opportunity to purchase the Digger & The Pussycats European Tour t-shirt, as designed by Tony Giacca of Six Ft Hick fame. T-shirts are available as part of a package with presale tickets for $50, with any leftovers to be sold on the night.  Digger & The Pussycats hope you can make it.
