Kick off the long weekend with a triple bill of iconic Perth talent, featuring three bands stacked with local music legends.
Deep BeepFive-ish men-ish, some of whomz are father-ish to child-ishz, coming together as a “last hope” (definitely not a new hope) for weary, unhealthy people everywhere. After years spent wandering around shops, catching buses, avoiding calls, and consuming “lots of pasta” alongside “plenty of brown time,” Deep Beep emerged in 2022. Featuring members of The Tucker B’s, Umpire, Wormfarm, and more, their latest collection Mind the Brain is your chance to curl up in the hug of their collective genius.

If you like it hard and fast, this band delivers every time.Phantom IslandFeaturing Joe Bludge and Sarah Norton of The Painkillers, along with Flick Dear and Sze Tsang from Broken Gnomes, this supergroup is a melting pot of Perth music royalty.Garage post-punk with a hint of dingo!Phantom Island is inhabited by people who've played in bands before, but never like this.Reaching down into the bubbly depths of the endless ocean of rock, they rise to the surface with glistening handfuls of top tunes and spiky dissonance.
