Capturing the band’s distinctive hard-hitting instrumentation and introspective lyricism, and creating a unique space where sensitivity shakes hands with catharsis, the album takes inspiration from the likes of PJ Harvey, Big Thief, Tortoise and Sonic Youth.
Based in Naarm but hailing from regional Victoria, Daisypicker recorded ‘Mess Around’ at the all analogue studio Sound Recordings on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in early 2025, and they are excited to finally share it with you!
Joined by the industrial, maniacal Npcede, Adelaide folk-rockers Perfect 50, and McKimmie’s off-kilter bedroom pop, this diverse lineup from rock to electronica will blow your socks off.
