BENG 2 Album Launch

Beng return with their second full-length LP, Beng II, diving deeper into their signature blend of groove-heavy, improv-based rock. Building on the energy and exploration of their debut, the new album balances structured songwriting with their hallmark extended jams, dynamic shifts, and bursts of chaotic intensity. Expect head-nodding and danceable grooves, astral noise, and an experience of the journey of their their new album.

To celebrate, Beng will perform Beng II in its entirety, alongside some fresh material and fan-favorite oldies. Joining them are two stellar acts:

Liam Watts & The Electric Red MessengersLiam’s fuzz-soaked guitar pop fuses 60s/70s glam rock with the raw edge of 90s alternative. His 2020 release Thought Sails packed an emotional punch, and his high-energy live show—backed by seasoned Naarm musicians Jacob Todarello and Will Taylor—blends heavy rock with touches of jazz, prog, and folk.

Duncan ThomasA multi-instrumentalist and improviser, Duncan crafts immersive soundscapes of “dark folk” and “ambient bush.” Drawing from Spanish guitar, Indian raga, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and Gaelic roots, no two performances are alike. Expect a collaborative, meditative journey through sound, stories, and shared space.
