HEAT 2 FEATURES...
Palinola
Palinola is an alternative rock/metal band hailing from Toowoomba Queensland. They mix the infectious melodies of alternative rock/pop punk with hard hitting guitar riffs found in 2010s post hardcore . After releasing their debut Ep “Static Divide” in 2025 Palinola, has their eyes set on dominating the Australian alternative music scene.
PEACHY
With hard-hitting lyrics, raucous guitars, and infectious indie-pop riffs, PEACHY brings their unique brand of punk into the scene. The group from Brisbane have a shared passion for creating loud, emotionally charged music that’s a force to be reckoned with. Embracing a DIY ethos, PEACHY blend personal narratives with sharp social commentary and draw influence from icons like Magic Dirt, The Buoys, and Le Tigre. Catch them live as they hit the stage and try to play songs faster than their hands will allow.
Strange Fiction
Strange Fiction are a hard hitting, fast riffing, hardcore rock 5 piece (with the added addition of an unofficial 6th member The Shoey Shark) from the dirty south(east) of Queensland. The boys first established themselves in 2019 and within their first year, they played 20+ shows throughout South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Since then they have supported heavyweight acts such as Cancer Bats, Evergreen Terrace, Windwaker, Void Of Vision, Fangz, Barebones travelled interstate. Their live shows are full of chaotic energy that get the crowd moving and screaming for more. You are missing out if you haven't seen them yet.
The Chimpeltons
The Chimpeltons are a dynamic three-piece punk and hard rock/metal band hailing from Brisbane/Meanjin, Australia. Formed in 2020 during their high school years, this group of riff enthusiasts draws inspiration from iconic acts like Soundgarden, Pantera, and Metallica. Known for their blistering riffs, heavy breakdowns, and powerful choruses, The Chimpeltons deliver a live show that captivates audiences and leaves them craving more. Their debut album, “Out of the Jungle,” released in 2024, solidified their growing fan base, with over 250 tickets sold at their launch show, attracting both devoted youth and over-18 audiences alike.
