The Power 50: Catherine Haridy

Catherine Haridy worked in A&R at both Warner Music and Festival Mushroom Records ahead of establishing Catherine Haridy Management (CHM) in 2006. The roster now includes acts like Eskimo Joe, Bob Evans, Jebediah and more. 

There was plenty to keep Catherine Haridy busy in 2019. In July it was announced that Haridy would replace Leanne De Souza as Executive Director of AAM, an organisation which she has been involved with since 2010 as a board member, patron and chairperson. "I'm honoured to be taking on the role of Executive Director for the AAM for the remainder of 2019 to steer the association in conjunction with our stellar board and team,” said Haridy at the time. 

Additionally, 2019 saw Haridy continue her role as an APRA AMCOS ambassador and a board member for both Music Victoria and Support Act. 

Haridy’s roster achieved big things in 2019 too, with producer Anna Laverty involved in ABC’s The Recording Studio which picked up the ARIA Award for Best Original Soundtrack or Musical Theatre Cast Album, while Steven Schram was nominated for the ARIA Award for Producer Of The Year alongside Paul Kelly for Kelly’s album, Nature.
