What do your Australia Day celebrations involve? Good food, good music, good times across four days from 25 - 28 Jan, culminating on the 26th for our famous Backyard Party; dishing out tinnies and having a classic Aussie BBQ.
Will you be doing anything special or out of the ordinary? Australia Day menu from Kebab Shack: Lamb kebab with rosemary and garlic, Coat of Arms kebab (kangaroo and emu), Crocodile burgers on damper bread, raspberry and white chocolate lamington pops.
Will there be a particularly Australian soundtrack to your day? There are live acts and DJs across the four days, triple j Hottest 100 countdown on Aus Day and KLP (DJ set/triple j) headlining Friday (27 Jan), plus loads of other fresh local Aussie acts.
What's the best thing about being Australian? Incredible weather, the best beaches in the world and home to a huge mix of people from all sorts of backgrounds. Everyone gets a fair go and knows how to have a good time!
Should we change the date of Australia Day? Australia is an amazing country worth celebrating, why not make it a date that everyone can embrace? It's not like it's never been changed before!
