The Last Waltz Revisited Focus: Kevin Borich

"Those songs are in my ballpark - rock'n'blues."

Do you remember the first time you saw The Last Waltz? What were your impressions? The La De Das were my first band and we played a few of their songs at that time. We loved the laidback feel, the vocal and lyric content. We had their first LP.

The Last Waltz is considered one of the best music films ever made - can anything hold a candle to it? The George Harrison tribute concert at the Albert Hall is up there with The Last waltz.

What made you choose the particular songs you're performing on the night? Those songs are in my ballpark — rock'n'blues.

Will you sing your songs true to the original or put your own spin on things? As best I can, but I'm having some lyrical fun with Who Do You Love.

Come on, own up - who are you jealous of on the night because they'll be singing a song you really wanted to sing? Sorry!!!! No Jealous green envy around my aura!
