Zander RhodesBrisbane-based indie-folk talent Zander Rhodes today unveils his latest track.
Premiering via The Music ahead of its official release this Friday, Daydreaming creates a peaceful soundscape.
“After spending a long time travelling through Central and South America in 2017/18, I decided I needed to settle down for a while and put some hard years into my career,” the English-born singer-songwriter said.
“Doing this in my home country seemed like a bleak prospect, so I moved to Australia and immediately fell in love with the laid-back culture and coastal lifestyle. This song is about the conflict I've felt ever since I landed, between wanting to travel and explore this beautiful country with my partner, and getting stuck in the monotonous routine of life.
“With COVID travel restrictions in place, this song has taken on a new meaning for me and I hope it resonates with those who listen.”
