Joan & The Giants are back with a brand new single, premiering their track Just For You feat. Lilia exclusively with The Music today.
The Perth group wrote the song following the passing of a friend with track described as "a love letter to people who feel like they have no one to turn to, providing comfort and an underlying hope that everything will be OK".
"I wrote Just For You as a way of reaching out to a friend. At the end of our first lockdown in Perth, she lost her brother who could no longer fight his long battle with depression," explained Joan & The Giants' frontperson Grace Newton-Wordsworth.
"With a heavy heart, I knew this would be an incredibly challenging time for her as she has also faced many battles with her own mental health, and I wrote her this song to tell her how precious she is to me.
"Life can be overwhelming, and I hope Just For You can bring some comfort and warmth to someone going through a tough time."
