What's the song about? A mysterious girl has lost her reflection. Her reflection represents her self worth.
How long did it take to write/record? Nat and I wrote this song over about four weeks. I initially wrote the song's core and Nat and I wrote the melody and sections. I spent about a week tweaking the mix.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This track is a stand alone single.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I really wanted to write a driving, retro sounding track that would suit Nat's vocals. I've been getting into '70s and '80s synths and they feature heavily on this track.
We'll like this song if we like... '80s synthwave, retro chiptune style music.
Do you play it differently live? It's going to be mixed up live, with bigger drops and a full synchronisation visual show behind it!
