What's the song about? The song is about following your own path, finding your own truth.
How long did it take to write/record? The track was worked up over a year between travel and shows around Australia. It was recorded at Sumo Studios in a day with a couple of overdubs at home.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? We are looking to release a new song every month, then release an EP or LP before the end of the year.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I was inspired by the concept of total freedom; the ability to travel at a whim and explore not only the world but the reasons why we feel hemmed in by societal norms.
We'll like this song if we like... Raw rock music with a decent serving of distorted slide guitar.
Do you play it differently live? We normally extend the solo section as we are prone to improvising. It's exciting to allow whatever is happening in the moment flow for as long as it needs to.
When and where is your launch/next gig? We are organising a launch at the moment. We have an incredible line up and are looking to have every band play a cover song or two from the '90s.
