"It was one of those rare songs that spilled out pretty quickly when I wrote it."

Single title: Shiver

What's the song about? It's about a boy, and feelings, and tension, and too much eye contact, and too much hesitance... and goosebumps.

How long did it take to write/record? It was one of those rare songs that spilled out pretty quickly when I wrote it. I worked with James Newhouse and Joel Quartermain to record and produce which we did over a few months.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? It'll hopefully be from a forthcoming EP to be released next year sometime!

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I was listening to a lot of Half Moon Run when I was writing this song, a lot of Imogen Heap, Jonsi etc. I really like creating quite huge dynamic shifts in my songs.

We'll like this song if we like... Sia Furler, Florence + The Machine, Art Of Sleeping... I'm not sure — depends what you listen to music for!

Do you play it differently live? Well, there's a couple of software produced sounds on the track, but we don't do that when we play live. I love the organic sounds we create as a band.

When and where is your launch/next gig? 30 Oct at The Boston in Northbridge is the single and video launch for Shiver! Connor Ross (VIC), Hannah Rosa (QLD, and Joni In The Moon (WA) are supporting!
