Single title: Could Be Worse

What's the song about? A day in the life of Bearfoot, taking things as they come; the good, the bad, celebrating and moving forward.

How long did it take to write/record? From a random jam at a small gig, to road testing at Woodford, then recording with Paulie B at Tanuki that spanned over a six month period. Loved watching it progress.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? It's the last single to come from our debut EP, TRiBE, following on from Babylon, (QMA-winning) Impolite and Dreamer. This song ushers in the transition to the next phase…

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Money don't grow on trees, but really, money don't mean a thing. Money, it comes and goes, just like the tide and the way the wind blows. Somedays could be better, somedays could be worse.

We'll like this song if we like... Sitting on the beach at sunset, beer in hand, watching the waves roll in, and not sweating the small stuff.

Do you play it differently live? It used to be quite a bit longer, but now we pretty much play it how it is on the EP. It has become one of our favourites.

When and where is your launch/next gig? Heading to the Triffid on 16 Dec supporting Chocolate Strings with Hemingway and Vaguely Human. Then back to West End for NYE at the Boundary St Hotel with Dosed.
