Scared Angel

So many songs are about being a bad girl. I love that, but sometimes I really don’t feel like I’m a bad girl… I just kinda feel like staying in, dancing in my pyjamas, hibernating and writing poetry. This song is about revelling in those moments and feeling bloody hot, not being such a bad girl. How outrageous! Haha.

Accelerate

This song is about a crush I had. We were hanging out, but I wanted to hurry it along and get my romance on. I love being romantic, and in this song, I dream about taking ‘said crush’ out to the zoo and learning some Kung Fu. I’ve never told anyone who the crush is, needless to say.. it didn’t work out. But feck, it’s fun to be romantic.

Trouble

Trouble is about giving into naughtiness, indulging in doing cheeky things. I find flow and release in accepting my naughty behaviour; it’s kinda like that feeling you get when you are in the ocean letting the water wash over you and it makes you feel alive. Take me to the beach, please ;)

Collide

This is about fantasising. I think I should leave the rest up to your imagination.

Flex

Flex is about finding inner strength and resolve. I was feeling a bit lost when I wrote this track and I think the process of writing it was me finding that internal strength and invoking the drive to follow my heart. It was such a joyous experience writing this song, I literally could not stop smiling doing the takes.
