PREMIERE: Requiem - Treading Water (feat. Kathryn Rollins)

Following on from last year's release of acclaimed album Louvres, hip hop artist Requiem has just dropped new track Treading Waters featuring Kathryn Rollins and we're stoked to be premiering the music video for the stellar single today on theMusic.com.au.

The new song has been described as an "internal battle of panic and uncertainty" and the clip reflects that in its cinematography — shot amongst dark waters, a man struggles to find his way with just one paddle in a confined boat at night.

The young MC has come a long way since recording demos for his school friends. After leaving Melbourne five years ago to move to Darwin, Requiem's experiences led to the release of his album and his career is only going from stride to stride.

Having supported the likes of Drapht, Illy and Seth Sentry, Requiem got the opportunity to record Treading Water with renowned producer Cam Bluff (Hilltop Hoods) and the results speak for themselves.
