PREMIERE: King Of The North – Get Out Of Your World

Melbourne rock’n’roll duo King Of The North have delivered another sky-high hit with the clip for Get Out Of Your World.

While their last effort, The Mountain, was filmed atop just that, the clip for Get Out Of Your World sees them occupying a rooftop in Budapest with other European hotspots – including the Berlin Wall, Zeppelin Field in Germany and iconic scenery from France and Spain – also making an appearance.

The song itself oozes classic rock vibes, with attention-demanding riffs, powerful vocals and a solid lyrical foundation.

“I think we can all limit ourselves by our thoughts. Certain ways of thinking, bad habits, fears trap us in our minds and create these ‘worlds’ we think are real and important,” Andrew Higgs said.

“The song asks the question to perhaps look within, recognise things and alter them for a better outcome. Get Out Of Your World is a metaphor for ‘get out of your mind’ or ‘get out of your comfort zone’.

“Try something new, challenge yourself and don’t take life too seriously. We can all create great things if we put our minds to good use; fill it with positive thoughts instead of negativity.”

It’s a mindset that Higgs attributes to extensive international touring – the band taking in 31 stops during their most recent European stint, filming all along the way for the video.
