With Melbourne artist Freya Josephine Hollick's new album, The Unceremonious Junking of Me, set for release next month, we here at theMusic.com.au are stoked to be premiering the video for the second single from the record, A Man Is The Water.
Filmed at Ballarat's Sovereign Hill and the captivating surrounds of St George's Lake in Creswick, Hollick's new clip (produced by Mass Motion) is a fitting tribute to exactly what the song is about.
"A Man Is The Water is an ironic love song about the reliability of men I have found myself entangled with," Hollick explains.
"The premise for this song came to me one day as I was walking along a creek by my house and I came upon a man up to his waist in the water plunging his hands in deep and pulling up debris and rubbish, he was humming and had a cigarette hanging from his bottom lip.

"As I wandered away I began singing and when I got home the whole thing came out in one."
Ahead of the album's release on 11 November, fans can next catch Hollick live at tomorrow's Out On The Weekend festival.
