Presumably you’ve been to the Newtown Festival before, what’s your best memory? I have never been to Newtown Festival! I’ve heard so much about how great it is. All our friends go every year so we’re all very excited to be a part of it this year.
What’s first and why – bands or stalls or bars? I think bands comes first, purely due to the fact that they are so much louder than everything else haha.
Favourite spot at the festival to chill and watch the world go by? I’m imagining it’s in front of the sound desk on a picnic rug some good wine and cheese.
What would be your entry into the dog show? A dog dressed as Michael Jackson.
Aside from the festival, what are your favourite Newtown locations? Like everyone else in Sydney, we are still very excited about Mary’s Burgers. Best burger I’ve had in this country.
Why do you think your band is a good fit for the Newtown Festival? We’ve been writing and recording our first album this year, and the music is very geared up for a festival. Dancy and summery. Perfect for the afternoon.
You’re off stage and post-set, where’s your next stop at the festival? First, a frosty one, then straight to second hand clothes stalls.
When and where are you performing on the day? 2.20pm on Federation Stage.
