For the second year in a row Prahran Market will be hosting the Sausage Fest on 22 Jan. Celebrating the humble snag is a good way to jump into the Australia Day weekend, no?
BBQ king Bob Hart will be firing up the barbie while Alice In Frames will greet the masses. Each trader will contribute a sausage (last year's contenders saw a bevy of flavours, from duck and orange to the more traditional pork and fennel, and lamb and rosemary), which Bob Hart will cook, and the public will taste and vote for their favourite (the traders will not be made known, for fairness' sake).
It all happens at the Blanco Kitchen in Harvest Hall, with voting at midday.
