When did you start making music and why? We started making music on a cruise between Tasmania and Malaysia, we were working as cabin boys and the band on board got really sick from drinking too many Midori based cocktails.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? This changes weekly, right now it's the classic Warumpi Band's GO BUSH. From rollicking rockabilly to protest song to My Island Home, ya can't go wrong!

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Lord Fjord our bass player got us a gig on a yacht, we played hard,  partied even harder! We woke to discover we were on a different boat in the harbour, it took us four hours to find our instruments...

Why should people come and see your band? Because we bring the party, the wild Trop~Pop palm tree party!

When and where for your next gig? Mighty Duke and the Lords debut album launch will be at the Gasometer Hotel in Collingwood on Friday Feb 12!
