Have You Heard: Forever Son

Answered by: Jack Robbins

When did you start making music and why? Down the coast in Anglesea growing up because there wasn't much to do when the surf was bad and it was raining.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Mildly dreamy psych folk

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Jimi Hendrix — Electric Ladyland. The traversing of genres, the cutting edge use of the stereo sphere, the amazing songwriting. It's got a bit of everything. It never grows old.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Recently an intoxicated lady yelled at me mid-song "Play a good song!" I explained to her in song form that i only had substandard songs for her that night. It was well rock'n'roll.

Why should people come and see your band? It's high rise, tippy toed, reverb-filled good times. No crying and lots of eye contact. Everything you need.

When and where for your next gig? 20 May at the Wesley Anne with Georgia Spain and Zoe Fox. Doors at 8pm. $8
