The Event: The Breaking Punk Weekender
Why should punters visit you? It's an entire weekend of punk music! If the loudness doesn't kill you, the disrespect to your liver will.
What’s the history of the event? Traditionally held on the second Saturday of every second month, this time around we are mixing it up a bit. Kind've a one-off but never say never. Perth's own Punk Rock Holiday.
Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Moshing is encouraged. Having a good time is encouraged.
Alcohol is encouraged (but not necessary).
Who's performing this time around? Friday we have The Decline, The Bob Gordons, Ohm Rune and Wasting Sunday. Saturday we have Priority One, Silver Foxes, Two For Flinching, Hope Street, Being Beta and Dave Mullins.
Do you have any plans for the event in the future? Yeah! To keep putting on rad local parties. Eventually it would be awesome to bring bands from interstate over but one step at a time. Party on, Wayne.
