'This Isn't Even Up For Debate': These Are The Top Five Most Metal 'Star Wars' Moments

Shred wars.

More Galactic Empire Galactic Empire

Galactic Empire are bringing their Star Wars metal extravaganza – where they play pieces from the films in shredding style – to Australia. In the lead-up, we asked guitarist Dark Vader, known as his Chris Kelly to his mum, for his five most 'metal' moments from the Star Wars movies.

Number Five

Emperor Palpatine using Force lightning to shock Luke. What's more metal than getting shocked by lightning?

Number Four

Darth Vader slaughtering the rebels as they escape Scariff with the Death Star plans. This is one of the most badass moments in Star Wars history, and is clearly a candidate for a metal moment.

Number Three

The Death Star destroying Alderaan. Not only is this a huge loss for many in the Star Wars universe, it has also become the subject of countless jokes at their expense.

Number Two

Anakin (newly dubbed "Vader") killing every youngling in the Jedi Temple. Once an innocent child turned full Sith Lord.

Number One

Han shot first. This isn't even up for debate, the movie has just been altered too many times over the years. This clearly makes him more of a badass than Greedo, the bounty hunter sent to find him. To me, this is clearly the number one metal moment.
