How did you first become involved in the music business? My father was a drummer and recording studio engineer in New York City. My first involvement would be playing live gigs as a teenager. I then started doing studio sessions shortly after.
What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I have had a lot of different experiences over the past 30 years playing large and small gigs and recording everything from albums to soundtracks/commercials in the studio.
What topics will you be mostly talking about at Face The Music? Approach to playing drums, being a working drummer, and networking/social media.
What do you hope to personally take away from Face The Music? I hope to meet other musicians and share experiences, though I'm not able to stick around after our presentation.
What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? That's a good question. I'm happy where I am at for the moment, so I'm not really sure.
