The Event: DD500: Death Disco's 10th Birthday
Why should punters visit you? Four themed rooms, three stages, 16 DJs/acts from all over the country covering all bases; trap, grime, house, hip-hop, future bass, dubstep, drum 'n' bass, indie and everything else.
What’s the history of the event? Ten years in Aussie clubland is a lifetime but Death Disco, WA's most popular and longest-running weekly club night is still packing them in. Every Saturday night for 500 consecutive parties Amplifier/Capitol.
Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Comfy shoes for lots of dancing and some serious stamina… we're open till 5am.
Who's performing this time around?: Hydraulix (NSW), TXNK (SA), Mr Shadow, Levi Walsh, WYN, Elise Keddie, YNG RACH, Gud Riddance, Rovy Rush, Square One, Brayden Jeffrey, Pickled Dingos, YATTAMAN and the Death Disco DJs.
Do you have any plans for the event in the future? We will keep partying hard for as long as people keep dancing. We also have some incredible events coming up. Just Blaze (USA) and Blanke (ACT) on 10 June and heaps more to follow.
