EP Focus: Ayla

How many releases do you have now? This is my first real EP. I did release one when I was 13, but that one stays hidden...

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? The songs on the EP were all written over the past five years — some older and some more recent — so they were all inspired by different things over that time.

What's your favourite song on it? I like House On A Hill because it's more of a happy song.

We'll like this EP if we like... Florence + The Machine, Sarah Blasko, Lorde

When and where is your launch/next gig? 19 Dec, Metro Theatre, supporting Lime Cordiale, and then 30 & 31 Dec at Woodford Folk Festival.
