Not content with just two Hottest 200 places (his Like A Version with Lisa Mitchell also scored a slot in the countdown’s second half), Elk Road has kicked off his immense year ahead with the quiet release of Come Down – a fresh new single that is peaking with brilliance. Come Down confirms Elk Road’s status as one of Australia’s best, with an earworming vocal line forming the base of the track, soaring above a pulsing, bass-heavy production that toys with subdued synth melodies and roaring hits of brass. Also FYI – those are Elk Road’s own vocals on the track – amazing right?
