Do you offer practical on-site learning or more of a theoretical base? Our learning is practical and includes: one-to-one lessons, band rehearsals, composing, songwriting, recording, mixing, mastering, performing, creating events, revenue streams for music artists, marketing principles, management of music careers, practical studies in software such as ProTools, Sibelius, Ableton and Logic. Theoretical components include music, sound, and culture studies.

What makes you different to other educational institutions? We have full-time staff who are well-known and active within contemporary music scenes. They are available for advice and help outside of classes. Our facilities are music specialist and available for use after hours including performance spaces with industry standard lighting and sound. Over 300 students ensure vast networks for creativity and work.

What kind of social activities do you offer? All of our courses regularly involve performances and events in venues around Melbourne. Student Life & Media (SLAM) run student activities throughout the year such as mini-workshops, product tastings, free breakfast, free lunch, scavenger hunts, live music, market stalls and plenty of free giveaways. There are cafes and student lounges on each campus.

Do you offer job opportunities, internships, or other ways to help students get ahead? Our courses ensure students have developed skills to be freelance music industry professionals. You will work at events/venues such as Stonnington's Jazz and Glow festivals, Elsternwick Hotel, Revolver, Bennetts Lane, 303 and Wesley Anne. Students complete industry-related activities as a work placement after selecting an industry mentor.

When and where is your next Info Day/Open Day? Every Tuesday from 18 Apr you can come to a campus between 4pm - 5pm for information, a tour and to ask any questions. Prahran: 3rd Floor, Building K 32-50 St John Street. Fairfield: Campus Library, Yarra Bend Road.
