Everyone loves to make sand castles, no doubt. But it's a small number of people who can lay claim to these pieces, which literally are sand castles, in the sense they're castles drawn on actual sand particles. In a process that took four years of experimentation, Brazil-born, NYC/Rio de Janeiro-based artist Vik Muniz has combined with artist/researcher Marcelo Coelho to create these miniscule drawings.
