Short description of your band and your music: The showcase at BIGSOUND is the debut of my new live show, with two hugely talented artists Tom Thum and Jordan Rakei, who I've collaborated with on tracks from my forthcoming sophomore album coming out in 2015. It's the first time I've performed a live show to this level, and it'll give an exclusive preview to a heap of the new music which is being released from this October over the next year around the album release. I'm working the beats and percussion live, as well as some really cool custom created visuals; Jordan's on keys and vocals, and Tom's on vocals and looping... and there's also a super special surprise guest on the night. :) The music is very carnival/soul-influenced but it also sits in electronic/club world as well. My music is very much its own sound, which I'm super proud of and can't wait to share with everyone at BIGSOUND.

What are you hoping to achieve from showcasing at BIGSOUND? Get as many people excited as I am about my new music and the new live show. I'm trying to do something unique and engaging with the music and the show and will be touring this new show to a bucketload of places in 2015.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? My show is soulful, really uplifting and very unique. It's a world exclusive first taste of the new music I've got coming out in 2015, and I've got Tom and  Jordan, two amazing artists in their own right performing this special show with me, as well as a very special additional guest on the night. It’s also as much a treat for the eyes as well as the ears and feet. I'm truly excited about performing my new show for the first time in my hometown at the best live music event in the country.
