Album title? Weapons Of Mass Distraction
Where did the title of your new album come from? It comes from a personal view that we are bombarded with consumerism to detract us from thinking about what is REALLY going on in the world...
How many releases do you have now? A 7" on candy red vinyl, available at our Bandcamp page (underthecut.bandcamp.com). We have just released our album digitally.
How long did it take to write/record? I've had the songs written and put aside, and some produced before recording. We recorded the album with Sam Johnson at Holes & Corners and it took us three days.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? For the past year I have been studying Community Services, it's been a profound and prolific inspiration to me.
What's your favourite song on it? I Refuse To Sync. It's my personal struggles faced as a youth with my European cultural beliefs.
Will you do anything differently next time? No, I would definitely go through with the same recording process... Possibly more keys/synth and get some guest musicians to play on it.
When and where is your launch/next gig? 11 Mar, Reverence Hotel.
