How long did it take to write/record? Good News took about ten days to record but had been an ongoing songwriting process for about two years.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I was really into Phil Collins' drum sound while we were making it. During mixing, if we wanted bigger, more bombastic drums we would say "Let's Phil it up!" Get it?
What's your favourite song on it? I really like See My Friends — it's pretty muscular, dark and that guitar solo really tears through the song.
Will you do anything differently next time? Next time I'd love to be able to spend more time in the studio and experiment with different instruments and ideas.
When and where is your launch/next gig? 4 Dec, Crown & Anchor
