Album title? Rhythm 'n' Rust

Where did the title of your new album come from? The album was finished and waiting to go into print without a title, so we basically sat around after a jam, looking at the cover image throwing ideas until we got Rhythm 'n' Rust.

How many releases do you have now? We have three releases now: The Dirty Blues EP, Voodoo Chicken Shack EP and now Rhythm 'n' Rust.

How long did it take to write/record? The writing started a year ago honing songs live at gigs based around audience reaction. The recording however was two intense weeks in a confined space that gave us something we are quite proud of.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? The personal connection to the content of the songs really pushed us to get the delivery right.

What's your favourite song on it? Longest Night. It shows off our psychedelic, heavy blues edge and it has strong personal and emotional connection for me.

Will you do anything differently next time? Not sure what or how we will do it differently as yet, but all our releases have been made in different ways to give different feels to the albums.

When and where is your launch/next gig? 3 Feb, Catfish, 8.30pm; 4 Feb, Spirit Bar & Lounge; 18 & 19 Feb Bruthen Blues Festival; 24 Feb, Rochester Castle Hotel
