Album title? Blender 2015
Where did the title of your new album come from? Blender is the second series of three compilations to be released by Richmond Street Records. Originally the first three compilation CDs were called Stacked, starting in 2010.
How many releases do you have now? This is the sixth compilation album to be released by Richmond Street Records. The first being Stacked 2010.
How long did it take to write/record? The album was written and recorded over the course of the year, with each artist submitting at least one track to be added to the compilation.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? As a student label, hearing the raw talent of CIT's music students and being able to witness the growth of these emerging artists is inspiring to us.
What's your favourite song on it? Fall In The Dark by 404 is our lead single, but we don't have a favourite at Richmond Street Records.
Will you do anything differently next time? Being a student label every second is a learning experience, so I wouldn't say that we would do anything differently, just better!
When and where is your launch/next gig? Thursday 26 November at Rosemount Hotel.
