'The Fanbase Was There The Whole Time': Two Door Cinema Club On 'Tourist History' And Their Love Affair With Australia

"I also think people are hilarious when they think no one is watching them."

Can you give us a tweet-length summary of your show? It's about growing up gay in Tassie with nine siblings and a crazy mother, doing a uni course I hate and almost killing people at my job.

What do you find funny? My family are hilarious and I talk about them a lot in my show. I also think people are hilarious when they think no one is watching them.

What do you find unfunny? Being cruel. Making fun of people can be hilarious, but there's a line and it's not funny if you cross it.

What's a ridiculous situation you've been in that you got a joke out of? Almost accidentally killing an old man at work. It wasn't pretty. He was traumatised, I was traumatised, but looking back it's hilarious. I talk about it in my show.

Do you have a pre-show ritual? Not eating and feeling like I want to spew? I get incredibly nervous. Oh and a nervous wee or two.
