What made you want to be a part of the ASOS All Nighter? It's a unique idea to stream it all live concurrently around the world. We're into postmodern gigs like that. ASOS is quite a trendy brand too, and we've been wearing their clothes as standard for a long time. Best jeans/plain black t-shirts ever!
How will you tailor your usual live performance to the ASOS All Nighter show considering your audience will be online? We're going to just treat it like we would any house party. Play a short, storming set. There are going to be people in the room anyway, so it won't be weird for us to get into it and make sure it's just as intense as a normal show of ours. Plus, our good friend and co-producer Owen Pratt is doing the audio recording so we don't want to disappoint him. We're part of the generation that wouldn't even consider it weird to have an online component to the audience - we watch loads of live performances on TV and the internet anyway, to try spy on what pedals people use.
Will you be showing-off any new material during the ASOS performance? We'll be playing some songs off our new album I'm Leaving, which are relatively new. We're sure there are loads of people out there that haven't heard most of it yet.

What do you love most about house parties? Being able to take a carrier bag of your favourite drink and mix with friends! Cheap and cheerful, and sofas! Wayyyyyy better than a club. You've gotta be careful about where you choose to stash your booze though, a few years ago the washing machine drum used to work but everyone knows that trick now. It's a bit Catch Me If You Can. The best house parties have a balcony/back garden element too, nice to go al fresco when you meet that special someone!
What would a typical house party with the Is Tropical guys be like? You mean you don't remember? Classic.
Can we expect anymore attention-grabbing clips similar to Lover's Cave and Dancing Anymore anytime soon? We're working on a different kind of video for our next single, something which will highlight all the awesome places we've been visiting and the joy of travelling as a band. Naked people will always be there to come back to.
What's coming up in the near future for Is Tropical? We're super excited to be working on some new tracks. We're also heading to Istanbul and Amman in Jordan in the near future. Besides that, we're tinkering on instruments, going to gigs and of course house parties around London with mates while we're home!
