To mark the new release, we got guitarist/vocalist Dan O’Connor to tell us about his feelings towards their discography, on being a father, and how they came to where they are now in 2015.

Four Year Strong have never been a band willing to stagnate themselves. On their fourth studio album, ‘In Some Way, Shape Or Form’, the band has redefined their musical ability and allowed their songwriting to naturally progress away from the standard formulas that characterised their earlier work. Guitarist and co-vocalist Dan O’Connor spoke to Kill Your Stereo about the new album, the band’s upcoming Australian tour as part of Soundwave Festival, and why he’ll never be content with doing the same old thing all his life.

Four Year Strong will be bringing their beards and pop punk breakdowns to our fine country once again, this time as part of the 2010 Soundwave Festival. We caught up with Synth man Josh Lyford for a chat.

Now, I’m not sure if it was the signing to the Pete Wentz backed “Decaydance Records”, or the fact that all five members have beards, but Four Year Strong are set to be one of the biggest bands of 2008.
