Video: Kagu - Shadow Of The Wind
A beautiful debut gets an equally beautiful - and odd - video clip.. Early December last year saw the announcement of a new project from ex-Snakadaktal member Sean Heathcliff called Kagu, with a stunning first single in Shadow Of The Wind. At the time it was revealed since Snakadaktal's split Heathcliff had been immersing himself in the new project, taking ideas from daydreams and thoughts that will eventually lead to his debut EP release some time this year. Keeping our interest at peak levels, he's just released a melancholic video clip that is a somewhat oddly perfect accompaniment to Shadow Of The Wind. Enjoy it below, and keep your eyes peeled for one of our most-anticipated releases of 2015. Follow Kagu: FACEBOOK | SOUNDCLOUD | TWITTER

Hopium - Dreamers feat. Phoebe Lou
Melbourne electronica duo Hopium enlist Snakadaktal's frontwoman for a beautiful new single.. Earlier this year we featured the first single from Melbourne outfit Hopium - called Cut it came complete with a visually stunning video clip and brooding, post-industrial/darkwave beats, which had us rather excited (check it HERE). This excitement has proved justified with the recent release of their follow-up single - Dreamers, featuring Phoebe Lou, former frontlady of Snakadaktal (RIP). They've proved a perfect match, with Phoebe's spoken word parts reminiscent of Before The Dawn Heals Us-era M83, and on-point production from Hopium themselves. Dreamers hit number 2 on Hypemachine last week and has already been added to full rotation on triple j, so one gets the feeling this is only the beginning.
