Bleeding Through is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in 1999. A refined Bleeding Through experience.
Orange County outfit Bleeding Through led the metalcore charge in the early 2000’s. Heavy, melodic and musically sincere, the band has enjoyed a well-received career. On the eve of their farewell Australian shows next month, Killyourstereo.com sits down with keyboardist Marta Demmel to discuss Bleeding Through’s journey and her plans for the future.
The band will make one more trip down under before splitting.
Not BT's finest moment but far from their worst.
An Orange County menace…
Brutal uptempo thrash driven metal with subtle textured keyboards.
Having survived trends, member changes and record label bullshit, Bleeding Through is one of the true mainstays of the Orange County punk/hardcore/metal (or whatever the fuck you want to call it) scenes. A lot of bands talk a hard game when it comes to their level of passion and dedication to their music and their fans, but BT front man Brandan Schieppati is one of the most sincere musicians I’ve been lucky enough to interview. But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself.
Orange County’s heaviest & hardest working band are back in Australia for the Soundwave Festival. After recent dates with HIM, Slayer and Marilyn Manson - the band is stoked to be hitting Australia again. With a new guitarist and a new record on the way, Bleeding Through’s future as a band isn’t going to slow down any time soon. I spoke with Brandan about the bands lineup changes, new songs and the state of the music scene.
