PREMIERE: Figures - 'Recoil'

Melbourne prog rock/metal outfit Figures have unleashed a powerful first cut from their forthcoming EP with Recoil and its accompanying video clip.

Chucky riffs and ruthless vocals lead the tribute to fan and friend Mick Mills, who passed away recently after a nine-month battle with lymphoma.

“His favourite Figures track was Recoil and he was always front row when we dropped it,” guitarist Simon Edgell recalls.

“We'll miss him but we will never forget him and this video clip was never released in time for him to see it.

“Guaranteed if he had have seen it, in true Mick style he would have most certainly lost his shit."

The compelling lead single promises big things from the Chronos EP, which drops June 16 after Recoil is officially out this Friday, May 5.
