VIDEO PREMIERE: Crystal Cities - Good Life

Sydney dreamy-pop-rock upstarts Crystal Cities have returned to the fore with sparkling new single Good Life, the delightfully quirky video clip for which is proudly premiering on theMusic.com.au today.

The video was filmed in the band's home turf of Newtown, and splits its focus between the band jamming out on a sunny hillside and an astronaut who cannot believe this Earth shit that they're seeing, biking around the streets and taking tourist snaps of the various sights they encounter. All the while, the uplifting, jangly single and its infectious, harmonious refrain, I don't want to die waiting on the good life, works its magic and embeds itself in the listener's brain, likely selling them on an immediate consequent replay or two, well before the song even finishes.

The new single arrives on the heels of earlier releases Talking To Myself and Tell Me Nowwith all three recent tracks preceding the band's debut EP.

Crystal Cities are a couple of shows deep into their current east-coast tour, having knocked over a pair of warm-up gigs in Sydney ahead of their appearance at the Blue Mountains' Vintage Wineries on 8 October; following that slot, they have double headers lined up in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with a slot at Sydney's Vic On The Park event thrown in for good measure.
