Lauded singer-songwriter Dustin Tebbutt has just unveiled infectious, assured new single Wooden Heart, the latest taste to come from upcoming debut album First Light, and The Music is proud to be premiering the sweet-and-simple accompanying video clip today ahead of the full-length's release.

The video is largely set in an expansive wooded area, following a woman on a mission as she runs towards her end goal, passing several hapless joggers along the way. There's the occasional detour into amusing absurdity as the pack of runners snap into choreographed asides, but it never feels ridiculous or out of place, the entire clip instead proving an appropriately uplifting arrangement of imagery to back the song's ultimately upbeat and effortlessly accessible soundscape.

The Wooden Heart clip was directed by Josh Harris, with choreography by Courtney Hale and styling from Benjamin Bates, both of whom Harris lauded as being "spot-on" with their vision for the clip, which he described as "honestly one of the most enjoyable shoots I've worked on".

For his part, Tebbutt is hugely enthusiastic about the end result, saying in a statement: "I had a blast working on this video with Josh. I had a loose concept in mind, which he took and made way cooler … All in all, it was one of those really easy, enjoyable collaborations, where the decisions seem to make themselves."
