PREMIERE: Something To Rescue - Dance Your Troubles

Ascendant South Australian pop outfit Something To Rescue have officially entered the Australian music world with their brand of soulful pop, heralded by their debut video clip, Dance Your Troubles, proudly premiering today on theMusic.com.au.

The song arrives hot on the heels of a well-received support slot for Little Sea, and ahead of their scheduled opening performances for stalwart pop-rockers Short Stack. Despite this being their first video, this is far from the group's first rodeo, so to speak, having honed their craft with a slew of sold-out shows during 2014 in the lead-up to releasing their second EP, Dance Your Troubles Away, later this year.

Fans of catchy, vintage pop will find much to love here, as will those with an affinity for clever electronic work and cinematic history, as the band do their thing in front of a projection of a montage of several classic dance scenes. The track itself was recorded and produced at Sydney's Freefall Studios and DASH HQ by Dylan Nash, with Crystal Mastering's Joseph Carra handling final desk duties for the song.

Feel free to head over to Something To Rescue's Facebook page and drop them a Like to help keep tabs on their movements — according to a recent post by the band, we can expect to hear an announcement of impending tour dates (and, hopefully, EP release info) in the very near future.
