More Lowtide More Lowtide

You may have heard Melbourne dream pop quartet Lowtide's newest single, Julia/Spring, but we're sure you haven't seen the accompanying nine-minute epic.

Premiering the short film exclusively on theMusic.com.au today, the video clip follows a young man's nighttime stroll through the city lights and a whole army of dead-eyed mannequins, finally finding himself in a club where Lowtide are performing in a "hazy narcosis", as the press notes detail.

Filmed between Iran and the band's home of Melbourne, the short film was directed by Jamieson Moore and is set to both sides of Lowtide's 7" release — Julia on Side A, Spring on Side B.

The band are also embarking on a short run of east coast dates in support of their new 7", first stopping by Northcote Social on Saturday, 29 August with Parading and The Shifters as supports, Newtown Social in Sydney with Terza Madre and Raindrop on Sunday, 30 August and finally Trainspotters in Brisbane with Barge With An Antenna On It and Forevr on Saturday, 5 September.
