PREMIERE: Ten Thousand - Just A Drug

Melburnian melodic-rock outfit Ten Thousand are continuing to support their new full-length, First Light, with the release of their second clip to be taken from the record, Just A Drug — and we at The Music are stoked to have the privilege of helping them unleash it into the world with a premiere airing today!

The new video comes super-hot on the heels of the band's appearance on Channel Eleven's Bondi Ink just a couple of nights ago, which saw them leaving with fresh skin art and rights to have every one of the album's songs played throughout this series of the reality tattooing show. It's a fittingly buzzworthy next step in an album process that took a year to the day for the five-piece to pull together — including an exhausting, relentless nine-day recording period in St Kilda, footage from which has been collated to create the clip for Just A Drug — in amongst domestic tours alongside the likes of Dead Letter Circus, The Living End, King Of The North, Dallas Frasca and more, as well finding time to grace festival stages.

Check out the full video above and enjoy both watching the band work and the ultimate fruits of their labours, all at once. Once you're done, head to theGuide or The Music App to bookmark Ten Thousand as a favourite act and rest easy knowing you'll be alerted as soon as they make their next batch of tour plans known.
