PREMIERE: Red Beard - Hells Gates

Queensland dance-rock outfit Red Beard will be releasing their new single Hells Gates tomorrow and TheMusic are proudly premiering the video for the track today. 

The clip sees the lively quartet rocking out in a an aeroplane hangar amid sequences of a man running with purpose away from someone, or something, that is following him. (We don't want to ruin the surprise.)

The boys' music has been renowned for its blend of heavy, indie and electro sounds but the latest offering is pure rock, as singer Tomi Rooney's raw, grungy vocals complement the quick, clean guitar riffs — a special mention has to be given to keyboardist Reece Buckley, as his enthusiastic and dedicated performance makes the instrument look way more badass then it should. 

The new track is to feature on the band's forthcoming album and fans in Brisbane can catch Red Beard perform next on Friday, 1 August at The Brightside in support of fellow hometown act, Young Lions - check theGuide for more info.
