More Courtney Barnett More Courtney Barnett

The keen new voice of "slacker rock" — Courtney Barnett's genre-defining brand of spoken word and crunchy guitars — is exclusively showcasing a rendition of The Breeders' Cannonball, filmed live at The Forum by Moshcam on theMusic.com.au today.

The show was filmed last month when Barnett played one of three sold out shows at the iconic venue.

Barnett is on the road currently with her debut Sometimes I Sit And Think, Sometimes I Just Sit, released on her own record label, Milk! Records. She'll first be stopping to play her slot on the coveted Glastonbury Festival, then head over to the US, followed by the UK.

Check out the song filmed above, with the full show's footage up on Moshcam from Monday, 6 July. Moshcam has filmed over 1,000 gigs over the last few years, from Slash to Hot Chip to Alabama Shakes.
